Overpass is the first completely new bomb defusal map that Valve designed for CS:GO. The long-range battlefield was added to the competitive map pool in 2013 and hasn’t been removed since. The map, though, has received some updates since its introduction and even added two in-game memorials to celebrate plays that happened at CS:GO Majors. Both make reference to Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer, one being a graffiti based on his iconic in-fire defuse in a crucial round against Dignitas at ESL One Cologne 2014, and the other is a sign that makes reference to the controversial boost Fnatic and olof used to defeat LDLC in DreamHack Winter 2014.

In New World, like other MMO titles, you’ll need a group of different player roles if you want to clear the expeditions and PvP combat that you’ll fight through on your way to complete the story. A competent healer will add to any party, supporting their allies in any battle. Healing in New World is similar to other games. But with the dual weapon system, healers can be responsible for a whole lot more than simply keeping teammates alive.

The Pokémon Company recently announced the next event taking place in Pokémon Go, which will celebrate the launch of the Netflix-produced film Pokémon The Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. During this event, there will be themed Pokémon available to catch in Pokémon Go. A new addition will be the Legendary Pokémon Zarude. The Rogue Monkey Pokémon will be made available through limited-time Special Research tasks beginning on Oct. 1 to the Oct.

Pivoting from a new look to a tried-and-true method of victory, Evil Geniuses is bringing back Fly to helm its Dota 2 roster today as the organization heads into the final leg of the 2022 Dota Pro Circuit.  Fly returns to North America after a brief stint in Southeast Asia with the original iteration of Talon Esports, stepping back into the captain role for the organization he played with from 2018 until late 2021.

Lapras is one of the most well-known Water types in Pokémon Go. The first-generation species boasts both the Water and Ice typings, granting access to a range of moves and resistances afforded to both types. Lapras has two different methods of attack. When used as an attacker, Lapras will commonly use a pairing of high damage Water-type moves. But when used as a defender, the optimal moveset consists of Ice-type attacks.

Comfey is now available in Pokémon Go with the addition of other Alola region Pokémon, and the elusive little creature has a lot of trainers scratching their heads. For those who are getting frustrated with not being able to find Comfey, a flight to Hawaii might comfort you—and it might also get you that Comfey you’ve been looking for. Comfey is region-locked to Hawaii. Only those who are physically on one of the islands in Hawaii are going to see the Pokémon spawn for them.

Cyberpunk 2077 has finally landed on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles after the game’s messy Nov. 2020 launch. Along with its next-gen release comes AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR). AMD FSR is an upscaling technology that can help optimize game performance by rendering graphics in a lower resolution before upscaling to the base resolution. Using AMD FSR can increase your frames at the cost of some graphical fidelity in some titles depending on the preset.

Pokémon Sword and Shield’s The Crown Tundra expansion has added a lot of new content for players to enjoy, including a new way to experience Max Raid Battles with the Dynamax Adventures mode.  This new way to raid features tons of rare Pokémon that might be hard to obtain otherwise, including legendary Pokémon, starters from multiple regions, and Pokémon capable of Gigantamaxing. And the best part is all of them can be shiny.

Former LCS top laner Samson “Lourlo” Jackson has given his two cents on the current state of Champions Queue. The 24-year-old is disappointed with the state of the high-ELO North America matchmaking system and points to other players’ attitudes towards it. In his eyes, Champions Queue is a great idea but it isn’t appreciated by other pros in the region. At this point I don't even know what is holding back players from at least playing 1-2 Champ Q games a night.

Rocket League finally went free to play on Sept. 23 alongside a kickass Fortnite-themed in-game event, Llama-Rama. Whenever an already popular title goes free to play, millions of new players get a chance to try out the game if they haven’t already. Considering the Llama-Rama event is filled with in-game rewards for both Rocket League and Fortnite, it’s safe to say that the number of returning players is also off the charts. While Psyonix is an experienced developer and knows how to handle its servers, a surge in player numbers like what Rocket League is experiencing right now can catch any AAA developer off guard.
