VALORANT’s new Forsaken skin line for the Vandal, Operator, Spectre, Classic, and melee is delicately impure, the darker alter ego of the already-existing Sovereign cosmetics. While one embodies royalty and virtue, the other is corrupt, edgy, and “ultimately tragic,” according to art lead Sean Marino. “We imagined a world where a bird-like race ruled a kingdom in the clouds, with the royal family’s guard using the Sovereign guns (instead of swords) to protect them,” Marino said.

Riot bid a fond farewell to Cooldown Reduction (CDR) in League’s 2021 preseason and introduced Ability Haste, a new and improved version of the stat. CDR was a stat that reduced the cooldown of your champion’s abilities or the amount of time before an ability can be used again after activation. This was determined by a percentage and was granted by items like Luden’s Echo, buffs like the Blue Sentinel’s Crest of Insight, and runes like Transcendence.

The newest kid on the Call of Duty block, Black Ops Cold War, went live on Nov. 13. While each year’s multiplayer improvements push the game to a better place than it was a year ago, the campaign mode has remained a nice-to-have feature when it comes to the CoD series. Black Ops Cold War goes against the narrative on this one, though, since it packs a thrilling campaign mode that will take you on a journey.

Mega Evolution is about to make its debut in Pokémon Go and it looks like the first Pokémon on the list is going to be a Mega Beedrill.  In the “A Mega Discovery” Timed Research, players will be completing tasks to learn the basics of Mega Evolution and earn various items that will help them along that path.  Because this the first Special Research to feature Mega Evolution, there will likely be more like it in the near future as Niantic continues to roll out more of the Mega mechanics into the game.

The wait for the Arc System’s fighting game, DNF Duel, is finally coming to an end since the game recently made its debut with an open beta. The first open beta was only available to PlayStation users and it was completely free. Users on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo will need to continue waiting to test out the game. Considering there will be more public tests in form of betas, the chances are users from other platforms may be able to test out the game before its full release.

The four maps in Apex Legends have changed a lot since their respective releases. Successive seasons have seen the removal of the popular Skull Town drop spot in Kings Canyon, the chilling addition of the Climatizer on World’s Edge, the introduction of Phase Driver on Olympus, and the very recent addition of the scenic Storm Point. Thanks to these big changes, it’s safe to say the best drop points on each map are different from what they used to be.

Palkia is a legendary Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, featured in the Diamond and Pearl games. It joined Pokémon Go in 2019 but has yet to receive its shiny version. It can be captured by defeating it in five-star raids. Like other legendary Pokémon, Palkia often comes back to raids with new events. Although Palkia has a better attack than defense, it still does a good job in both fields. What it lacks, though, is stamina.
