The term match-fixing is almost as old as competitive sports, dating back to when people started placing bets on sports and events. There’s been a growing debate around the availability of ADS systems on certain weapons in Riot Games’ newest tactical shooter, VALORANT. ADS has been around for a long time, but in a game like CS:GO—which is arguably the most similar to VALORANT—ADS is rarely seen, except for with sniper rifles and the Krieg 552. Now, a few questions remain. When should you be using ADS in VALORANT? Is using ADS worth it?

Apex Legends, the newest free-to-play game, has everyone trying to get a battle royale victory and become a champion. But which company actually made this smash-hit battle royale game? Well, it’s none other than Respawn Entertainment. The game is also published by EA, the parent company of Respawn. Respawn is best known for its Titanfall series of video games, which suit up players in gigantic death machines to duke it out against one another is huge firefights.

In League of Legends Patch 12.11, a whole slew of adjustments was dished out to help balance out some of the different champions that were affected by the game’s major durability update. Although many champions were affected positively by the buffs, one pick has seen a sudden rise in success on Summoner’s Rift: Zeri. The Spark of Zaun has seen a huge win rate spike since the developers shifted away some of her mobility and utility for better damage and cooldowns.

Acend has benched in-game leader Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi, the organization announced today.  BONECOLD has been a part of the VALORANT team since its inception under the name Don’t Even Ask dating back to January 2021. Their rise to glory began shortly thereafter under the Acend banner.  As we evalute the next steps for our Valorant team, we will be moving @BonecoldVAL to the bench. We are grateful for the role he played in our success, and have no doubt he’ll find success in a new team!

A Reddit user flaunted their fully sized replica of Jinx’s signature machine gun Pow-Pow as it appears in Netflix’s League of Legends-inspired animated series Arcane. Created entirely out of cardboard, the machine gun weighs only seven pounds despite its size and weighty look. Painted with acrylics to perfectly match Pow-Pow’s look in Arcane, the user said the creation of this replica took over 90 hours. The creator showed a knob in the back of the machine gun makes the three barrels spin akin to how they rotate when being fired in the show, though they rotate manually and at a fairly slow speed.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was released in 2016, bringing with it a completely separate Zombies experience from what was featured in the previous Call of Duty titles. The gameplay looked different and many of the mode’s signature weapons also weren’t available for use in this iteration. Instead, the devs opted to include a slew of new weapons to better suit the Infinite Warfare feel. The core mechanics of the mode are similar in all titles, but some of the features have different names in each game.

The flow of battle might be dictated by many different factors in League of Legends, but a good support is always important, even if they’re not always highlighted within a gameplan. Nami isn’t the flashiest champion on Summoner’s Rift, but she can easily control the tide of teamfights by setting up her teammates for success. She can heal her allies in a jiffy, provide a ton of crowd control, and even bring a surprising amount of burst that can drown out any unsuspecting enemy bottom laners in the early phases of a game.
