Most players love the task of catching Pokémon and slowly filling out every new Pokédex that becomes available, and doing that in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor expansion is no different.  With 105 Pokémon returning and a new section of the Galar Pokédex, it won’t take you long to capture the new additions while traversing the Isle of Armor.  In total, there are 210 Pokémon in the Isle of Armor’s Pokédex, with 105 of them being unique to that area and not carrying over from the full Galar Pokédex, which you might have already completed.

Niantic is rounding out another Pokémon Go Community Day trio, with Oshawott appearing as the featured Pokémon in September’s event.  Running from 11am to 5pm local time on Sept. 19, players can encounter the Sea Otter Pokémon more frequently, with shiny Oshawott also available. Any Samurott you obtain during the event can also learn the starter-centric Community Day move Hydro Cannon.  Throughout the event, Oshawott will appear in the wild and near active Rainy Lure Modules.

Pokémon TCG Astral Radiance is here and with it comes the addition of a ton of new Hisuian species to the game. Astral Radiance is the first time in the West that players can get their hands on Origin Forme Palkia and Dialga in the TCG following their introduction to the franchise in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Alongside these are a ton of other Hisuian Pokémon and trainers making their first TCG appearance, and more trainer gallery cards that were cut from previous sets.

Cloud9, fresh off a disappointing fourth-place finish in LCS 2022 Spring Playoffs, is shifting Australian star Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami back into a top lane role to replace Park “Summit” Woo-tae, according to sources in the League of Legends scene and first reported by Brieuc Seeger for Upcomer. The North American heavyweights are now looking for replacements in the mid lane, and⁠—according to Upcomer⁠—are considering support changes too. Fudge swapped to the mid lane at the beginning of Spring this year, which allowed Summit to join the roster.

Gamescom 2021 is just around the corner and it’ll be going completely digital this time around. Though the event was looking to be a hybrid with some on-site events alongside online ones, the German Games Industry Association decided to keep it remote. Officially kicking off on Aug. 25, Gamescom 2021 will be live for a total of three days, wrapping up on Aug. 27. Fans can enjoy the show from the comfort of their home since it’ll be free and there will be many attractions to tune into throughout the event.

League of Legends players will finally get the chance to snip and thread through their enemies with the game’s newest champion, Gwen, the Hallowed Seamstress, in Patch 11.8. But the patch has “something for everyone,” according to the developers, including a much-needed update to Rammus, which features a “mini visual” rework and a new ultimate that rewards players for “going fast.” Changes to a wide range of champions like Aphelios, Lee Sin, and jungle Zed are also in the cards with buffs, nerfs, and adjustments catered to solo queue and pro play.

Gods return to the Magic: The Gathering Standard format with the upcoming Theros: Beyond Death set.  Releasing digitally via MTG Arena on Jan. 16 and officially on Jan. 24, Theros: Beyond Death (THB) returns Magic players to the plane of Theros. The set contains seven Gods, two that are gold multicolored and five that are monocolored. All seven are dependant upon the returning MTG mechanic, Devotion. Mana colors in a God’s casting cost provide Devotion toward that God.
