Uttering words or phrases that directly conflict with Twitch’s Terms of Service is among the leading causes of bans or suspensions from the platform. As the platform has evolved, Twitch has continually updated its list of banned words, phrases, or sentiments. Words that are considered harassment, threats, or disparagements can often result in hefty bans. While typically first and second-time offenders are given one-day or week-long bans, Twitch has dealt out more severe consequences for channels spouting hate speech, incitements to violence, or related topics.

Riot Games’ animated series Arcane premiered its second act on Nov. 13. League of Legends fans who are familiar with the champions in the game will get to see some of them in the series.  The seven League champions on the second act of Arcane appeared on the first part of the show. Ekko is the only champion that appeared in the first part but doesn’t return explicitly in act two.

From the group stage onto the main stage, Dota 2’s top teams have finished their first trial. They will clash live at the Arena Națională in Bucharest to decide who will lift the Aegis of Champions and be crowned the champions of The International 10. Between Oct. 12 and 17, 16 teams will compete for the Aegis and their share of the more than $40 million prize pool—the largest in esports history.

Picking a server to play in New World is a difficult task in its own rights. In League of Legends Patch 11.13, players will get their hands on a couple of new items that will be hitting Summoner’s Rift. One of them is Anathema’s Chains, a new tank item that allows whoever builds it to select an enemy champion as their “nemesis.” Over the course of 60 seconds, you will build a “vendetta” against your nemesis, causing you to take up to 30 percent less damage from them.

Riot Games is suing the Shanghai-based developer of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for plagiarising Wild Rift, the mobile version of League of Legends. Since launching a mobile version of the popular MOBA in 2021, Riot has doubled down on battling copycat mobile games. On Monday, May 9, it filed a complaint concerning developer Moonton Games in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Riot used multiple splash arts for champions and skins that resemble those of League and Wild Rift, as well as the assets and communication on marketing campaigns, to support its claims for the lawsuit.
