The VALORANT Year One event will feature a free pass with exclusive awards celebrating the first year of the tactical shooter. Fans can unlock exclusive rewards from the event while enjoying the other updates included in Episode Three, Act One.  The first year of VALORANT featured several new agents, maps, and game updates that have kept it fresh for players. Episode Three is kicking off with the new agent KAY/O, a robot that allows players to disrupt enemy abilities.

As part of the Snivy Pokémon Go Community Day, Niantic has added in two sets of Timed Research that will run throughout the event.  Just like with every Community Day, the Special Research is ticketed, while the event-exclusive Field Research is available for all players.  During the event, if you evolve a Snivy fully into Serperior, it will know the Community Day-exclusive move Frenzy plant. Additionally, all capture Stardust gained during the event is tripled and Incense will last for a full three hours.

Trading with friends has been a staple of the Pokémon franchise since the very first games. And Pokémon Sword and Shield’s The Crown Tundra expansion is no different in pushing those interactions with more version-exclusive Pokémon. A Pokémon being version exclusive basically means you can only naturally encounter it in either Sword or Shield, not both. There may still be other ways to obtain it without going online, such as through a trade with an NPC character, but for the most part, you’ll need to connect with other players to get all of the new Pokémon.

Broxah rejoins Team Liquid as a streamer

Broxah is back with Team Liquid. The former League of Legends jungler for the team is now rejoining Liquid as a content creator and streamer, the organization announced today. The former Fnatic and CLG representative announced on Jan. 7 that he’s taking a break from professional play, despite having options for continuing his career both in Europe and North America. The 24-year-old decided to do so because he felt “worn out and underwhelmed,” and at the same time, he announced that he’d be focusing on streaming and climbing League’s ranked ladder from Denmark.

Streamer CashMeow assaulted during livestream

CashMeow, a popular Just Chatting streamer, was recently assaulted by a few individuals while he was live on Twitch.  CashMeow is a popular “IRL” steamer who constantly broadcasts his day-to-day life in Tokyo, Japan. CashMeow encountered three individuals allegedly harassing a woman during a recent stream, prompting him to intervene. This escalated into an altercation where multiple individuals tried to intimidate CashMeow and eventually broke a piece of his equipment.
