With the addition of the Go Beyond Update, Pokémon Go players have slowly been grinding their way from the previous level cap of 40 to the new goal of level 50. And just a day after some of the first players started hitting the level 48 mark, the first recorded trainer has reached level 50 in the game.  Pokémon Go enthusiast and streamer FleeceKing made history by becoming the first player in the world to hit level 50 today.

The first physical promotion for Pokémon Legends: Arceus is seemingly coming to GameStop starting on Feb. 25, giving players the chance to collect a special Hisuian Growlithe and 20 Feather Balls, as spotted by PokéBeach. This distribution will run from Feb. 25 to March 12, according to PokéBeach, with no specific details other than the content included.  Typically, the Pokémon distributed through GameStop have special abilities, moves, or other aspects. Fans won’t know more about the featured Hisuian Growlithe until its stats and details are shared, but it is not Shiny and can’t have a special ability because Abilities have been removed from Legends: Arceus entirely.

The Swiss system is a good alternative to the more traditional round-robin format and many esports events over the years have made use of it. Cosmicubes, a major update introduced in Among Us today, will change how the survival online game is played and has added a plethora of new customizable options. The new patch has added adjustable roles, a new in-game store, and Cosmicubes. The Cosmicubes are themed items that players can unlock through a progression path. Pokémon Sword and Shield received their first update of 2021 earlier today. Patch 1.3.2 is short and sweet, introducing a handful of fixes to the games. The first issue that was fixed was happening to players battling over online or local play. For some players, icons were not appearing during these battles.
