Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was officially released around the world today. While many players will jump into multiplayer right away, some fans might opt to kill hordes of the undead in Treyarch’s popular Zombies mode instead. Black Ops Cold War was launched with one Zombies map called Die Maschine. And as players try to discover everything they need to know about this new map, one of the top priorities for most Zombies fans will be trying to figure out how to unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine.

If you’re a fan of Wordle, the word-guessing game recently picked up by the New York Times for an impressive amount of money, then you’re likely also no stranger to the many offshoots it has inspired. From quad-challenge Quordle to math-based Nerdle, talented fans have been making their own variations for the internet’s denizens.  Now, the Overwatch League has its own version: OWLEL, created by community tech wizard Zusor.  Unlike the original iteration, this game doesn’t revolve around five-letter player names, which is terrible news for SPACE and super.

Snowball Fight, VALORANT’s latest limited-time game mode, is now live. The game mode, which made its debut last year, pits players in a five-vs-five scenario in which they can sling snowballs, open gifts, and ice-skate around Icebox in a winter-themed deathmatch. No weapons or abilities are available to use in Snowball Fight except for the Snowball Launcher provided to you at the start of each game, in addition to your agent’s melee weapon.

The amount of prize money in Call of Duty esports may not have the same figures as the likes of Dota 2, but it hasn’t stopped numerous players from collecting massive amounts of prize money over their careers. Since the 2011 CoD XP, which featured the esport’s first $1 million prize pool, there have been nine more world title events, all of which have boasted large prize pools. This has allowed players to dedicate more time and energy to the game and truly make competitive CoD into a career.

During October’s Animal Crossing Direct, Nintendo announced a new set of 48 Amiibo cards for Animal Crossing will come out in early November. Starting on Nov. 5, players will have the chance to get Series Five cards. They get packs that have six cards each, and they include characters you can add in Animal Crossing. Pre-orders for the cards are not yet available, but when they are, you should be able to find them at Animal Crossing’s official website.

Modems are often overlooked, yet they are critical of any gaming setup. Having the fastest internet speeds is critical when winning or losing comes down to split seconds and it could be the deciding factor. One of the best ways to judge a modem’s speed is by checking its Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) rating. Many older modems have the DOCSIS 3.0 rating, meaning they have a 1 Gbps download speed and a 200 Mbps upload speed.

Team of the Week (TOTW) 35 cards are live for players to get starting today in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. This week’s main set includes players with overall ratings ranging from 84 to 94. The TOTW promotion presents the players who stood out during certain real-life games over the past week and releases their upgraded version in the game. Since it’s a weekly promo, the cards being added today will be replaced next week.

With Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Game Freak stepped away from the game’s traditional approach to gameplay, storytelling, and progression, which includes replacing Gym Leaders and the Elite Four with actual boss fights against a special set of wild Pokémon.  See Pokémon on Amazon That isn’t to say Pokémon battles aren’t still included in the game, but you will be seeing them less often than a potential encounter with an Alpha Pokémon in the wild.

Mauer der Toten, the latest round-based Zombies map added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, was released earlier today—and it brought a fresh Wonder Weapon along with it. The CRBR-S is Mauer der Toten’s unique Wonder Weapon. It’s a powerful pistol in its base form, but there are also three separate “mod kits” that allow you to upgrade the gun in a different way. Just like the other Wonder Weapons in Black Ops Cold War Zombies, you can get the CRBR-S out of the Mystery Box or by completing Trials on Mauer der Toten.
