PUBG: Battlegrounds is celebrating its fifth anniversary this month, and the developers have not only pushed a new update live that includes special anniversary rewards, but they have also published a detailed roadmap for the rest of 2022. Starting in April, which begins Q2 for the development team, players can expect to see reverting Sanhok back to an older version of the map that the community has been active in requesting.

The sixth set within Teamfight Tactics will officially launch in early November following the Reckoning World Championship.  Scheduled to take place from Oct. 1 to 4, the TFT Reckoning World Championship will occur prior to Set Six launching on the PBE. Patch 11.20 will drop on Oct. 6, providing the traditional “fun patch” one update earlier than previous sets. Set Six will launch on the PBE on Oct. 19 or 20, according to Riot game design director Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer.

Mythic weapons are some of the most powerful tools in Fortnite. Compared to the other weapons in the game, they deal more damage, giving players an advantage over others that may not have mythic weapons in their loadouts. Throughout the latest Fornite seasons, mythic weapons were generally guarded by bosses. Players needed to defeat these bosses to get their hands on mythic weapons. A shakeup is coming to the Standard format in 2021 with the removal of Magic: The Gathering sets Eldraine, Theros, Ikoria, and M21.  The 2021 fall rotation in MTG Standard format will take place on Sept. 17 with the release of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. Every year, four new sets are released within the Standard format. With a goal of keeping the format fresh, Wizards of the Coast removes four sets from Standard every year during the fall.

GameStop’s bizarre journey over the past two years is continuing to twist and turn. Polygon reported today that a former GameStop employee has filed a class-action lawsuit against the company in New York state.  The lawsuit, which was brought to the court by former retail worker Trevon Mack, was filed yesterday.
