While Call of Duty players might be used to encountering a variety of stoners in game chat, the weapon of the same name hasn’t been seen since 2010. Now, the Stoner is back in Black Ops Cold War. The Stoner 63 is the first light machine gun unlocked in the game at launch and it’s a solid option for fans of LMGs. Whether you like to lay down suppressing fire by holding down the trigger on the battlefield or run and gun with a weapon that has a ton of bullets, the Stoner offers a fair amount of variety.

Discord is a rapidly growing platform that serves as a way for people to communicate with one another and organize as groups through voice, video, and text, but one aspect of it can sometimes be a point of contention—the color of its logo. Seeming to be blue in the eyes of some and purple in the eyes of others, the Discord logo, which can be referred to as Clyde, comes in color combinations that include black, white, and a bluish-purplish color.

Overwatch’s Summer Games event has officially started in near-perfect alignment with the Olympics in real life, but the in-game event for the class-based shooter won’t be here for too long. This year’s Summer Games kicked off on July 20 and introduced eight new skins, including five legendaries. Players will also get the chance to unlock all of the skins from previous versions of the event, from Nihon Genji to Wave Hanzo.

The nature trio have returned in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but they are also joined by a new fourth member. The preview for League of Legends Patch 12.12 has arrived and with it 20 champions are on the docket to receive balance changes. Among those 20, eight champions will be nerfed, including the most recently released champion, Bel’Veth. In addition to Bel’Veth, two other junglers—Dr. Mundo and Viego—are also being hit. Champions across the Rift, including Fiora, Singed, Zeri, and Janna, will also be nerfed. 12.12 Patch Preview! Nearly six years after its 2015 release, Rocket League is still going strong with an active player base across multiple gaming platforms. As a result of its popularity, the game also spawned toys from several companies, though not as many as you’d think. Cloud9 is back to CS:GO after having withdrawn from the professional scene in March 2021. The North American organization has completed the acquisition of Gambit, one of the best Counter-Strike teams in the world, for an undisclosed fee. Vladislav “nafany” Gorshkov, Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov, Timofey “interz” Yakushin, Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov, and Abai “HObbit” Hasenov are expected to debut under the Cloud9 banner at PGL Antwerp Major in May. They recently secured a Legends spot at the competition at the Europe Regional Major Ranking (RMR) B event, where they competed under the tag Players due to sanctions imposed on Gambit, a Russian-owned organization, as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February.

Complexity has officially signed the Extra Salt quartet of Johnny “⁠JT⁠” Theodosiou, Justin “⁠FaNg⁠” Coakley, Ricky “⁠floppy⁠” Kemery, and coach Tiaan “⁠T.c⁠” Coertzen, plus former Team Liquid rifler Michael “Grim” Wince and FURIA AWPer Paytyn “⁠junior⁠” Johnson. This news comes weeks after the move was reported. The North American organization was initially interested in acquiring the Copenhagen Flames’ roster, but the deal fell through at the end of 2021. Complexity has been without a CS:GO team since October 2021 after its old lineup didn’t make it into the PGL Stockholm Major.

Trainer encounters, also known as trainer battles, have been one of the driving forces of Pokémon since Generation I. Trainer battles generally take more skill than wild Pokémon battles and form the core progression mechanic in the franchise’s main-series games: If you can defeat trainers, you have enough skill to move up through the ranks and continue toward the next boss battle, otherwise known as a gym leader.
