Riot Games has revealed that this year’s League of Legends World Championship was viewed for over 1 billion total hours across 34 streaming platforms worldwide. The substantial number capped off a tournament in which Riot raised the bar in terms of viewership for its major esports event.  In a video published by Riot earlier today, the League developer broke down statistics regarding this year’s World Championship, showcasing the fact that this year’s grand final match between DWG KIA of Korea and EDward Gaming of China was viewed by over 73 million people at its peak.

Twitch streamer Macaiyla addressed her two-week suspension from the platform on Twitter shortly after her ban was announced. Late on June 3, StreamerBans first broke the news that League of Legends and IRL streamer Macaiyla had been hit with a two-week suspension. This is the Twitch partner’s third ban since she started streaming in July 2019. Without word from Macaiyla herself initially, many viewers speculated about the reasons for her ban.

Despite The Pokémon Company announcing that it had discontinued pre-release staff promos, one player in the United Kingdom has scored one at the Chilling Reign set pre-release event. In a post to Pokémon forum Pokebeach, Water Pokémon Master shared that he had been sent an image of the Chilling Reign staff promo from an official Pokémon TCG judge. The card, Cinderace, is stamped with the word ‘staff’ alongside the Chilling Reign promo stamp and according to the judge, it was pulled from a Build & Battle kit in the promo slot.

There are many fighting and crafting jobs to choose from in Final Fantasy XIV, and it can be confusing for new players. In comparison with many other MMOs, this one allows for much flexibility on job choices. Switching between two jobs is as easy as one button, and all of them are pretty well balanced. Destiny 2‘s Dawning kicked off with two quests this year. Saint-14 wants to bake cookies for the Eliksni, while Zavala intends to bring a Dawning surprise to Caiatl. As part of the Rite of Dawning quest, players will have to grab a Red Legion datapad with festive intel about the Cabal’s traditions. And, of course, it’s up to the Guardian to get it. The game tells you that the datapad is in Firebase Hades in the EDZ but doesn’t specify exactly where.
