On most days, solving the daily Wordle will be easy enough. For those who have been Josh Wardle’s word-guessing puzzle for a while, chances are there is a good strategy in place to guarantee a win. No strategy, however, works the same way every time in this game, which means you may still find yourself stuck. Wordle‘s system is reminiscent of classic game Mastermind: you need to guess a five-letter word and there are no clues but the letters themselves, which change colors after each guess to indicate what letters are in the word.

Some underplayed marksmen and top laners of yesteryear will receive buffs in next week’s League of Legends Patch 12.4. Riot Phlox, a designer on the team, tweeted out the list of champions due for changes, consciously omitting any items, including the bevy of fighter items, that were changed in Patch 12.3. Fighter items may be getting a patch to settle, but certain champions in that bucket evidently haven’t seen the boost back into the spotlight that Riot would like, and will be getting buffed directly, including Aatrox, Sett, and Illaoi.

The team has hired former SK Telecom T1 head coach Kim “kkOma” Jeong-gyun to lead its roster ahead of the 2021 season. Kkoma, a longtime staple of the SKT franchise, led the organization to its record-setting three World Championship titles between 2013 and 2016.

The Fortnite team at Epic Games has introduced a handful of weapon balancing updates to the game today, affecting the Two-Shot Shotgun, the Combat SMG, and both the Hammer AR and Striker Burst AR. The changes were relayed in a tweet from the official Fortnite Status account. The Two-Shot Shotgun, which was recently introduced at the start of the latest season, has received a massive buff since it has been widely ignored by players.

EA Sports added a 79-rated Ones to Watch (OTW) version of Xherdan Shaqiri from Lyon to FIFA 22 today. This item is available through the squad-building challenge (SBC) menu in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. This is Shaqiri’s first special card in this FIFA 22 Ultimate Team cycle and he’s also the first player to get an SBC. The best soccer players who joined a new club during the offseason receive a special card in the OTW promotion. In this case, Shaqiri was transferred from Liverpool to Lyon.

The $1 million prize pool ALGS Stockholm LAN starts Friday, April 29, and viewers can earn rewards for watching the action on Twitch with in-game cosmetics when they tune into the finals on Sunday, May 1. The finals of the largest tournament in Apex Legends esports to date will be broadcast on Twitch on the official Apex account starting at 9am CT on May 1. This weekend #ALGS history will be made.

Gearbox Software has expanded the Borderlands franchise even further with the release of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The game is a spin-off of Borderlands 3, placing players in the center of Tiny Tina’s version of Dungeons and Dragons. Like in previous Borderlands titles, players can choose to go at the game alone or with a friend using the split-screen feature. Split screen is still a viable option for players who want to enjoy a game with a friend using one console.

Twitch added “channel points” to the platform as a way to give loyal viewers benefits on the channels they watch the most without being forced to pay a subscription. The feature allows streamers to reward viewers with a number of different customizable goodies in chat, like modified emotes, highlighted messages, and more. All viewers have to do is watch their favorite streamer and points will rack up naturally. Streamers, on the other hand, have a little bit of work to do to make sure that their viewers are getting all of the right rewards.
