Since this past weekend, the League of Legends community has been buzzing after Cloud9 abruptly released the team’s new head coach, Nick “LS” De Cesare. The LCS offseason had built up a ton of hype around his acquisition, as well as the plans he had for the future of C9’s League division. But now, the former coach has returned to Korea and outlined some of his thoughts around his situation.

Riot released a competitive ruling earlier this week that fined 100 Thieves $5,000 for delaying their VCT NA Masters match against Immortals. The team disagreed with the server that tournament officials selected, believing it would give their opponents lower ping and an unfair edge. Though they eventually played the match out and won, the dispute sparked a community conversation regarding the relationship between ping and peeker’s advantage.

Pokémon Sword and Shield has only 400 Pokémon to choose from heading into the 2020 competitive season, which means there’s not a lot of choices left when it comes to finding the perfect Water-type Pokémon to put on your team. After the National Dex culling in Sword and Shield, there is only a handful of Water-type Pokémon left in the game and most of them are pretty weak. Granted, there are 33 different fully evolved beasts on offer, which is more than what Fire-type Pokémon got.

After trudging through the worst season in the organization’s history in the spring, TSM might be planning some big roster changes for the 2022 LCS Summer Split. The League of Legends team is replacing current rookie support Shenyi with former Estral Esports member Choi “Mia” Sang-in, according to a report by Upcomer’s Brieuc Seeger. Across the spring, Shenyi had a roller coaster of a season with TSM. The 19-year-old played on the main roster for about two weeks before being sent down to the Academy squad.

Activision may have denied popular content creator and prolific Call of Duty Warzone player Kalei a captain spot in one of FaZe Clan’s Warzone events because of her “oversexual tweets,” she claimed in a since-deleted tweet. The World Series of Warzone is back beginning this month, offering Warzone players a chance to win thousands of dollars and an opportunity to play against some of the most notable names in the scene.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is an enjoyable solo experience, but it’s also an excellent game to play with a group of friends. The first game in the series offered hours of fun as groups could take on zombie hordes and explore to their heart’s desire. Dying Light 2 offers the same experience, so it might be time to get the band back together.  Up to four players can play Dying Light 2 together.

The “trouble fetching information” bug is unfortunately a regular occurrence in League of Legends. The bug prevents players from queuing for normal and ranked games for no apparent reason. The error message says “trouble fetching information for this player (Error: 5C). Affected players should quit and log back in if this persists.” But after players reset the game, the error message often still persists. There’s a number of ways to fix this bug, and while it’s largely unknown why the error occurs in the first place, it can easily be solved.
