The war of the autobattler games is already underway. Riot Games’ title with League of Legends champions, Teamfight Tactics, is fighting against Valve’s game with Dota 2 heroes, Dota Underlords. A few players have already picked their favorites, though many others are trying to figure out which one they’ll play, if not both. Though TFT and Underlords share a lot in common, there are key differences that change how both games feel for the player.

The virtual world of GTA roleplaying has totally taken over Valkyrae’s life in the last few weeks, and that’s actually okay for the streaming star—her adventures in the land of NoPixel 3.0 have spiked her popularity on YouTube in a big way. VALORANT fans will have the chance to celebrate the first VALORANT Champions event with the VCT Champions limited-edition bundle. VALORANT YouTuber HITSCAN revealed the new VCT Champions 2021 skin bundle earlier today. The bundle includes a Vandal skin, karambit melee, and a few other bonuses for purchasing the bundle.  Both weapon skins have a black, gold, and red color scheme. The Vandal also has the Champions logo on its side.

The #SaveApexRanked movement sprung to life on social media yesterday and became a trending topic overnight. Numerous high-profile pros and streamers backed the hashtag alongside their pleas for Respawn to take meaningful action against the rampant cheating in Apex Legends’ competitive mode. Although the hashtag is new, the demands for better anti-cheating measures are nearly as old as Apex itself. The #SaveApexRanked movement combines the voice of players who feel that Respawn’s initiatives to combat hackers are insufficient.

Having triumphed in five successive world championship matches and looking to face a potential challenger of his generation that he’s all but crushed, he has publicly stated that it is unlikely that he will submit himself to yet another grueling match. After playing out the final series at the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational today, Royal Never Give Up captured their second trophy of the year by taking down DWG KIA in five games. Additionally, the team’s veteran top laner and leader Xiaohu made history as the first pro League of Legends player to win an international event in two different roles. Xiaohu has been one of the best top laners at the tournament, performing incredibly well from the group stage to the finals.

Zach “Asmongold”, the top World of Warcraft: Classic streamer, has been accused of “failing the game” in a popular post on Reddit—prompting a response from the streamer himself. Fans accuse Asmongold of finding workarounds for several features in the game in order to potentially negate the grinding aspect of WoW: Classic. This includes easy to access mounts, quest markers, and using the Scarlet Monastery to level up quicker. “There’s a million reasons we all wanted classic WoW but I think it’s really sad that he and many streamers shit talked BFA forever and said they would play classic differently only to go around begging for gold and items,” the post’s author wrote.

Respawn has revealed a new Bloodhound skin as part of a collaboration with apparel brand Chinatown Market and Apex Legends. The skin is called Sundown Desperado and it will become available in-game on March 30, along with a slew of other customization items, according to recent data mines. Popular streamer and content creator Cr1tikal recently spoke on stream regarding the exodus of Twitch streamers to YouTube in light of Ludwig’s move off of the platform. Someone in Cr1tikal’s chat asked what he thinks these streamers leaving means for Twitch as a platform—and he answered bluntly. “Nothing,” Cr1tikal said. “I think even if xQc tomorrow announced that he was the next one leaving—I don’t know if he is or anything like that—but if he announced that he was leaving tomorrow, Twitch wouldn’t fight for him.

EA Sports has added a squad-building challenge (SBC) to FIFA 21 Ultimate Team today called the Festival of FUTball Challenge, which will reward the players who complete it with a gold players pack. The SBC was introduced alongside the Festival of FUTball, which replaces the Team of the Season (TOTS). In this new promo, the Festival of FUTball cards will be upgraded based on national team wins from June 11 to 16.
