Valve now charging for access to CS:GO Prime ranked matchmaking

Three years after going free-to-play, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is revoking its free path to Prime matchmaking, as well as the drops, ranks, and skill groups that come with it. New players will now have to buy the Prime status upgrade from the Steam store for $15, Valve announced. The change was introduced alongside the release of Unranked Competitive matchmaking, a feature that’s been widely demanded by the community for years. New free-to-play players can still play every game mode except for Ranked Competitive, but won’t earn XP, ranks, skill groups, or drops.

All maps and extraction points in Escape from Tarkov

Escape from Tarkov is one of the most intense and difficult first-person shooters around. The unforgiving game drops players into various maps as they gather loot and attempt to escape without being killed by other players or Scavs. Tarkov doesn’t hold your hand in any way and doesn’t provide any map for you to reference by default. This can be daunting for new players learning the ropes, but thankfully the Tarkov community has helped ease the pain.

Best Karma build in League of Legends

The recent durability changes that accompanied League of Legends Patch 12.10 prioritized champions that have high mobility since it now takes them a bit more time to send an enemy back to the fountain. This has led to a resurgence of enchanters in the bot lane like Rakan and Karma that can effectively build and use Shurelya’s Battlesong to give their allies that extra push. Karma has remained a staple pick in solo queue and professional play for years.

Crypto’s Heirloom appears in potential Apex leak

Even though Apex Legends fans just received an Heirloom for Wattson, it appears the next melee skin is already on the horizon. The next Heirloom will belong to Crypto, according to a video posted by Apex news YouTuber Thordan Smash. It’s a retractable knife known as a jikdo, which Crypto can be seen twirling around and brandishing in the clip. There don’t seem to be too many animations associated with it yet, but the few that exist show Crypto performing a horizontal slash with the blade out and retracting the knife when he’s finished.
