Summer in the Magic: The Gathering Multiverse is heating up with the release of Double Masters 2022, with card previews starting on June 16. Tapping into the popularity of the first Double Masters set that was released in 2020, a second Double Masters will drop on July 8. A total of 331 cards are contained within the set, with some of the reprints featuring new art and with all Rare and Mythic Rare cards having the new foil-etched treatment.

Similar to online games, social media websites can struggle with server-related errors. When Twitter starts getting sluggish, you might not able to perform some of its most basic tasks, like loading or sending tweets. The PlayStation 5 event on Sept. 16 unveiled a huge surprise for the Call of Duty fans. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was expected to make an appearance, but an exclusive alpha test surely wasn’t on any gamer’s agenda. The first alpha test went live of CoD: Black Ops Cold War for PS4 owners, only, on Sept. 18, and there has been a couple of hiccups that proved to be a nuisance for players that were trying to get a taste of the new CoD title.

Video games are, in general, more interesting to play with friends than alone—and that’s even more true for MMO games such as Lost Ark. The South Korean game’s mechanics are specifically designed to be enjoyed in parties and many tasks won’t be able to be completed alone. The social features are also available upon the game’s release in the West. If you’re planning to test out Lost Ark with a group of friends, be careful: You’ll only be able to play with them if you’re all on the same server.

As members of the Survey Corps, players will be tasked with doing all sorts of odd jobs when out in the field as they explore the Hisui region. This means Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a number of requests that will have players exploring certain areas to help out NPCs.  After defeating the Noble Pokémon Lilligant, players can talk to an NPC named Zeke at the Galaxy Hall. He will ask you to find his sister Wanda, a member of the Security Corps who has gone missing in the Crimson Mirelands.

Apex Legends Mobile has received a rather frigid mid-season update that introduced the Translocating Thief Loba, a new battle pass, town takeover, new mode, and more. Starting today, players can experience just about everything else that Cold Snap has to offer. The update brings the Climatizer town takeover to World’s Edge, a POI that Apex’s PC and console players are likely familiar with. During matches, the Climatizer will cycle, coating parts of the map in snow.

Former TSM head of player development Peter Zhang has responded to his recent termination, making a TwitLonger post earlier today to explain “his side of the story.” Zhang was fired from TSM on March 18 due to “‘very serious allegations of conflict of interest and unethical practices,” according to a statement made by the organization.  Zhang, according to a report from Dexerto earlier this week, was fired from TSM due to “alleged financial irregularities” that reportedly included Zhang asking to borrow money from players on TSM’s roster.

Landing a good stun, knockup, or snare in League of Legends can often be the difference between winning or losing a game. When you play a crowd-control heavy champion like Alistar, Rakan, or Sejuani, every combo you do is game-changing. Riot Games introduced “Crowd Control Score” (CCS) in-client sometime in 2017 as a way of calculating the amount of crowd control a player landed during the game.

Dying Light 2 is now available in most regions, and fans everywhere are knee-deep in zombies and thugs as they explore the new city. The iconic parkour movement system is back, and a wide range of weapons and abilities are at your disposal as you help the citizens of the community.  There are a few different versions of Dying Light 2, each with exclusive items and goodies for diehard fans. Casual players will be fine with the Standard Edition, while more serious players should consider the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition.
