Popular content creator and philanthropist MrBeast has broken the YouTube record for the most subscribers gained in a month, bringing in more than 9.2 million in November 2021. This just beat out the previous record-holder, Indian YouTuber and comedian CarryMinati, who gained 9.1 million in May 2020. MrBeast now hosts 82.2 million total subscribers on YouTube, making him the seventh-most subscribed channel on the video content platform. In the month of November, MrBeast averaged more than 300,000 subscribers gained per day, with a weekly average of 2.

Riot Games is wrapping up development on one of League of Legends’ most long-awaited champion updates. More details were revealed today regarding a visual and gameplay update (VGU) for Udyr, the Spirit Walker.  Udyr’s update was first announced last February when he won the game’s annual VGU fan vote by a wide margin. The release for the update was originally planned for “early 2022,” according to Riot, but the new version of the champion may not hit the live servers until later this year, judging by the development team’s rate of progress.

After a nomination process that began at the beginning of February, the finalists for The Streamer Awards were announced yesterday and voting has officially opened for all 27 of the event’s awards. Apex Legends leakers are claiming they’ve found the next 24 months of content for the Respawn battle royale, including nine more Legends, five as-yet-unreleased weapons, new heirlooms for Crypto and Valkyrie, and a whole new map called “Divided Moon,” and have dumped all the files online. The huge leak, shared on Reddit by an anonymous account on Tuesday, boasts several gameplay videos, lengthy text files, and abilities for every leaked character.
