The wait for the gameplay patch 7.31 is finally over for the Dota 2 fans as Valve delivered the patch on time, which is a little out of the ordinary for the developer. Leading up to the patch’s release, fans were teased with a Techies rework and it arrived bundled with more content. New hero Primal Beast also joins the game’s roster in the new patch, and with it comes new changes to jungle camps. Primas Beast’s arrival adds new abilities to some existing jungle creatures while also introducing new jungle spawns.

It’s time to level up your Brawl Pass and earn some Power League points on Brawl Stars, because the ongoing season 11 is coming to an end. The upcoming season has been revealed and will include two new brawlers, a new game mode, new skins and cosmetics, and more. Supercell hasn’t announced an official date for the upcoming season. If season 12 follows the tradition of being launched on the same day the ongoing season ends, the game’s countdown already gives an idea of when players can dive into the new content.

Pokémon Sword and Shield have a bunch of exclusive Pokémon that are hidden within certain areas of the Galar region, which includes the primate Pokémon that were introduced in Sun and Moon: Oranguru and Passimian. The duo can only be found in one area of the game after playing for a few hours, and if you don’t know where to look, completing your Pokédex will be that much more difficult. There is a nine percent chance of finding either one of them depending on your version in the Glimwood Tangle, located after the fourth gym challenge.

The Season of Heritage is now underway in Pokémon Go, meaning players are going to be working closely with Professor Willow and the various Team Leaders to try and unlock a mysterious door by completing specific tasks.  These tasks are going to be split up into three distinct sets of Timed Research running during the season from Dec. 1 to March 1, 2022—with one set themed on a different Team Leader running each month.

Apex Legends is in the midst of the ramp-up to season 13, with trailers and new information about changes coming to the game coming almost every day now. Monday brought the full gameplay trailer for Saviors, as well as a full breakdown of the map changes in store for Storm Point. Some eagle-eyed Reddit users, however, noticed a very different bit of news included in the map changes blog post. 

Despite mixed opinions over the Magic: The Gathering Arena format Alchemy, the meta continues to thrive via regular balance changes and new digital-only cards.  The Alchemy format in MTG Arena launched on Dec. 9, introducing a large number of digital-only cards in conjunction with regular balance changes following the launch of each new Standard-legal set. WotC has also promoted the format in various tournaments, like the Arena Open and the upcoming Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty Championship tournament.

After winning IEM Katowice in February and ESL Pro League season 15 yesterday, two of the most important CS:GO tournaments of the year, FaZe Clan are officially the best team in the world, according to HLTV’s world rankings. The international powerhouse has returned to the top of the rankings for the first time since April 2018, when they were No. 1 before Astralis went on to dominate the Counter-Strike scene and take over.

Wizards of the Coast is promoting one of its most popular formats, Commander, with five Magic: The Gathering preconstructed decks attached to the release of Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths.  Commander is a multiplayer unsanctioned format within Magic that continues to win over the hearts of players due to its versatility and gameplay experience. Players use 100-card decks that contain only one copy of each card. Cards within each deck can only contain colors of its primary commander that’s either a Legendary creature or a Planeswalker.

The next stage of the 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour campaign is fast approaching, and with this being the final full stage of the year before VCT Champions, Stage Two is of vital importance to virtually all competing teams.
