Blizzard Entertainment revealed the first details about World of Warcraft’s next expansion in April. The expansion, called Dragonflight, still doesn’t have a release date, but players can already sign up for a chance to play a beta version of it before it’s released. Dragonflight is WoW’s first expansion since Shadowlands, which came out in November 2020. In addition to letting players ride dragons, it is set to include a new race and class, exclusive to each other for the first time in the history of the game.

Savathûn’s Throne World is Destiny 2’s newest destination and there’s plenty of mystery, intrigue, and beautiful areas to explore. One of the newest facets of the destination is a new public event, and like all others, it has a unique requirement to turn it into a Heroic version to earn even more loot. The “Ferry the Resonant Splinter” public event will spawn occasionally in multiple locations in the Throne World.

The launch of Fortnite Chapter Two, season five is bringing an entirely new map for players to explore in the game. The new map includes some old favorite locations returning to the game, as well as multiple new areas for players to uncover. Celebrating the upcoming release of Splatoon 3, Nintendo has added Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion DLC to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion, starting today. Previously offered as an additional purchase via the Nintendo Switch, players who own Splatoon 2 can now play the DLC Octo Expansion for free via the Nintendo Switch online and expansion pack. The Splatoon 2 DLC joins the Mario Kart 8: Deluxe DLC that dropped last month, greatly improving the quality of content Switch owners can access via the Nintendo Online + Expansion Pack.

Riot has released the Patch 3.2 preview for League of Legends: Wild Rift. The upcoming patch is bringing a lot of new features to the game, including three champions, the introduction of Control Wards, and more. The three new champions joining Wild Rift in Patch 3.2 are Nautilus, Pyke, and Ekko. Riot also revealed that it’s finally adding Control Wards to Wild Rift. The wards will be similar in their function to League on PC and will provide players the ability to effectively counter the enemy’s vision.

Bangalore mains have something else to look forward to in Apex Legends’ new Chaos Theory event. The soldier is getting her own heirloom item next week—and players who complete the latest collection will get it as a bonus. The Bangalore heirloom is a nod to both her past as an IMC soldier and a significant part of her backstory: the search for her brother Jackson, who, she believes, is still alive after an accident.

League of Legends started 2020 with the introduction of Sett, the first champion on a list of new characters that will join the game. Following his release, Riot confirmed in a Champion Roadmap that it was getting ready to release two more champions in a “big” summer event named Spirit Blossom.
