As a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer, Activision added a locked option called Watch Select. A watch allows the player to wear one of several accessories and actually check the time during their matches.  But the option was initially locked when you first entered the multiplayer menus—and the game didn’t say how to unlock the option, either. The process can involve pizza rolls, DLC packs, in-game bundles, and even battle passes.

Pokémon Go Tour: Live is returning to Pokémon Go this year, offering players in certain areas of the world chances to catch rare Pokémon in large quantities. Like previous iterations of the event, a one-time purchasable pass will give players access to a full day of bonuses and rewards. On Feb. 27 from 10am to 6pm local time, players in Mexico and Taiwan can partake in the 2022 Pokémon Go Tour: Live, aligning with the 26th anniversary of the series.

TSM is benching recently signed Braxton “Brax” Pierce from its starting roster, according to a report from Upcomer’s George Geddes. TSM has reportedly been practicing with Sean “bang” Bezerra, formerly of OTW Esports, in brax’s place. The report says that TSM has offered Bang a contract and that he should be officially joining TSM’s VALORANT team soon. Brax joined the TSM roster less than two months before this reported benching, initially as a sixth-man.

After months of preliminary alpha testing, the closed beta for Amazon Games Studios’ new MMORPG, New World, will launch tomorrow, July 20, at 11:30am CT.  The New World closed beta will last from that point until Aug. 3 at 1:59am CT, giving players two weeks to test out a strong portion of the content coming to the full release of the game later this summer.  Players looking to join in on the New World closed beta can gain access by simply pre-ordering the game on either Amazon or Steam.

Apex Legends’ map rotation in season 12 is giving World’s Edge some time to rest. The Talos arena won’t be in the map rotation during the game’s upcoming season, Defiance, Respawn Entertainment confirmed. The map rotation in the casual pool will be comprised of Storm Point, Kings Canyon, and Olympus, as confirmed in a press conference yesterday. Respawn did not provide details about whether World’s Edge will see professional play during this season.

One dedicated Apex Legends fan artist illustrated what Crypto’s foster sister Mila might look like in the style of the existing playable characters. Using Crypto’s official character art as inspiration, artist and art student puNe drew Mila in the same style, taking care to imitate Apex‘s existing line art and color designs. While NPCs and lore characters are illustrated in a wide variety of styles depending on the medium they appear in—comics, animated shorts, in-game events, and more—official illustrations of playable characters are generally more standard in appearance.

The first day of spoiler season is highlighted by the news that Modal Double-Faced Cards are back in Strixhaven, School of Mages with a rare cycle of Creatures that have complementary effects on both sides. The deans of the five colleges are featured within this cycle. Each dean represents one color of mana in the college’s color pair. This cycle sets the tone for what players can expect as the spoiler season continues.

New Pokémon cards set to arrive this July with the Pokémon Go collaboration special set have reportedly been revealed. As reported by PokeBeach, a Charizard regular card will join the set alongside Dragonite VSTAR. The secret rare variant of Mewtwo V has also now been revealed. Images of Chinese versions of these cards have appeared online and were translated by PokeBeach. Dragonite VSTAR doesn’t boast the Pokémon Go stamp that many other cards in the set do.
