Within 30 minutes of adventuring in Elden Ring, players will come across two mandatory bosses. The first is named the Grafted Scion, who is meant to show players exactly how difficult the game can be while also allowing players to taste combat for the first time. The second boss is called the Soldier of Godrick, who players will find much easier than the Grafted Scion. But this isn’t to say that the Soldier of Godrick is a foolproof boss that can be taken down with ease.

Snowball Fight in VALORANT made its debut last year, and it looks like it’s turning into a tradition. The holiday season is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time for developers to bring the season’s greetings to their game. The limited-time game mode is now live again, and players can enjoy throwing snowballs at each other in a five vs. five format. In addition to snowball fights, players can also ice-skate around Icebox and open thematic gifts.

VALORANT’s executive producer Anna Donlon confirmed via a Dev Diaries post today that a new agent will be added to the game for the start of Episode Four, Act Three. Donlon relayed that the VALORANT dev team at Riot Games will be “strengthening the foundation” of the game during Act Two, which will begin following the conclusion of Act One on Feb. 28. During Episode Four’s second act, there will be no new agent or map, with the team primarily focusing on improving the game’s overall health via updates to agent balance, maps, player behavior tools, and the ranked experience.

Most League of Legends players used up their precious refund tokens years ago. But now, to celebrate the 2020 season, Riot is giving them out for free.  Refund tokens offer players the opportunity to refund a skin, a champion, or any other cosmetic goodie available in League’s shop. If you misclick or simply have a change of heart, you can cash in one of your tokens for a no-questions-asked refund. Once you’ve used up your three tokens, though, they’re gone for good.

The latest VALORANT patch introduced several changes to Split intended to make it easier for attackers to push and take sites. Players have already found new ways to defend sites, however, including a new Cypher one-way smoke. Cypher’s Cyber Cage is a powerful ability that covers an area and makes an audio queue when enemies walk through the cage. Cypher can throw his Cyber Cage and activate it from a distance as needed, which is perfect for holding sites.

In the latest Lost Ark content roadmap, Smilegate introduced a new raid to challenge players on Western servers with the addition of Trial Guardian raids. This new content is set to release in May, alongside the Destroyer advanced class and a collection of quality-of-life adjustments. Trial Guardians raids are weekly challenges where players can attempt to defeat three major bosses, each with their own required item level to enter. Every week, one of the Guardians will be swapped out for another boss and will provide players another challenge to adapt to as the weeks go by.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic was released earlier this year and its initial content patch has been on the live servers since early June. Classic players have been eagerly waiting for a new taste of content from Blizzard, and finally, the game’s next major patch is on the horizon.  Phase two of WoW: TBC Classic will launch on Sept. 15, according to a recent announcement from Blizzard Entertainment.

From building to realism, each battle royale has tried to specialize in various niches to stand out. Enter Super People, where every player in a match has superpowers—making games even more challenging and interesting. Its main map resembles PUBG, but Super People does an excellent job of creating its own environment that revolves around expecting the unexpected. There are a total of 12 classes in the game at the moment. Players are randomly assigned one of these operators at the beginning of a match unless they spend a golden coin to pick their desired character.

After an unexpectedly long first season, Halo Infinite‘s season two is finally set to release next month on May 3. Titled Lone Wolves after the free armor core players can customize through the new battle pass, Infinite’s second season brings with it bug fixes, balance changes, new modes, and new maps. While we already covered the four new modes you can expect to dive into in the Arena and Big Team Battle playlists on May 3, fresh new play spaces are just as important.
