Fortnite’s Winterfest is now over, and players are back to grinding the game with seasonal quests. One of the week five challenges for this season requires players to harvest five timber pine trees on the map. The pine trees in Fortnite’s Chapter Three are a new addition that works differently from regular trees in the game. They appear like standard trees, but their trunk is a lighter brown. Moreover, they are found primarily in snowy regions of the map.

Apex Legends’ 12th season, Defiance, is officially live. Players can finally dive into the Apex Games as Mad Maggie, try the Control limited-time mode, and explore a sabotaged Olympus in the shooter’s season 12. In addition, the Defiance patch is bringing a slew of balancing tweaks, changes to care package weapons, and even ditching World’s Edge from the rotation for the rest of the season. Outside of the seasonal additions, Respawn Entertainment is bringing in a few ways to celebrate the game’s third anniversary, which took place on Feb.

Coming up on almost two years since the release of Legends of Runeterra, the tier list for best champions contains a number of old and new favorites that deserve time in the spotlight while others continue to hold the title of best meme champion.  The launch of LoR Magic Misadventures expansion brought about new champions like Rumble, Ahri, Kennen, and Pantheon. Following Patch 3.0, many of these new champs have continued to dominate the meta, alongside some old favorites like Tryndamere, Miss Fortune, Quinn, Gangplank, and Elise.

DrLupo is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch. He began his streaming career around 2013 with a focus on tracking his Diablo 3 progression while he was at work. He built a small consistent audience and later became a full-time streamer in 2017. While he wasn’t necessarily a world champion caliber player, DrLupo was talented when it came to battle royale games. His time in PUBG started his climb on the streaming platform and he took off with the release of Fortnite in 2017.

Every year, the Overwatch Summer Games event comes back around bearing board shorts and palm tree shirts. This year, the event is launching on Aug. 4 with eight new hero skins for players to unlock or earn. As is the standard for Summer Games, most of the new skins revolve around the beach or other summer activities. Skins and other assets, like emotes and player icons, can be unlocked until Aug.

World of Warcraft is notorious for having a massive array of playable classes and specializations. The game released with nine playable classes, but over the years, more have been added. There are currently 12 available classes to choose from in Shadowlands. Some classes have DPS specializations, while others focus on tanking incoming damage or healing. It’s important to know beforehand the possibilities of each class before you embark on a journey to level up only to find out that you can’t tank or heal later on.

Activision announced an updated release date for season one of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War today and it’s six days later than what was originally planned. To celebrate the release of season one, and thank players for being patient with the six-day delay, Activision is releasing two free cosmetic packs for Black Ops Cold War, including Operator skins for both Park and Garcia. Season One is coming. An unprecedented drop of free content arrives in #BlackOpsColdWar and #Warzone on 12/16.

During a March 15 stream, VTuber Ironmouse shared she had been receiving an influx of hateful comments after “someone” went on a rant about VTubers. While the Virtual YouTuber didn’t explicitly say the name of the person in question, she’s most likely referring to Quin69, who recently had a Twitch clip go viral where the streamer discussed why he dislikes the avatar-based streaming trend. In a Twitch clip titled “Quincel strikes agane,” which has garnered over 100,000 views, Quin69 commented on the appearance and voices many VTubers use.

The 2022 LCS Spring Split is winding down, and before long, the conversation surrounding the league will shift from the domestic playoff race to the road to the Mid-Season Invitational. With just five games left on the schedule for each team in the league, the next two weeks—and this week in particular—should give League of Legends fans a clearer look at how the race might shape up.  We received a bit of clarity last week in regard to the top of our rankings.

A new handgun has arrived into Call of Duty: Mobile. All players can unlock the Renetti for free through the Quick Hands seasonal challenge. Renetti is the second weapon to arrive in the ongoing season three of the game. The other one is an SMG called PP19 Bizon which can be acquired through the battle pass. Renetti has a decent fire rate and also does a considerable amount of damage when compared to other weapons in its class.
