Three color mana fixing will return to Magic: The Gathering in the new set, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoth.  Drawing the right lands and accessing mana is one of the most challenging and frustrating aspects of Magic. And duel lands that have previously been printed in MTG are some of the most expensive cards within a player’s deck, no matter the format. But there’s been a lack of love for tricolored builds—until now.

Earlier today, Ludwig announced he would be leaving Twitch to stream exclusively on YouTube. Following the announcement, Ludwig shared some insight into how he came to the decision that leaving Twitch would be the right thing to do for his career. Ludwig said that although YouTube offered more money than Twitch initially, he was inclined to renew his contract with Twitch. After some more pondering and some questionable decision-making antics like flipping a coin, Ludwig was still leaning towards Twitch.

Wizards of the Coast will complete the three-color mana fixing land cycle, better known as Tri-lands, within the upcoming Magic: The Gathering Standard-legal set Streets of New Capenna.  The release of Ikoria: Lair of Behmoths brought a new cycle of three-colorlands that enter the battlefield tapped and have the MTG mechanic “Cycling.” The cycle of tapped lands within Streets of New Capenna (SNC) will showcase shards, as opposed to wedges. The five combinations of colors for shards are Bant (GWU), Esper (WUB), Grixis (UBR), Jund (BRG), and Naya (RGW).

One of Overwatch’s most iconic heroes will be rocking a new name as of Oct. 22, distancing the character from the real-life allegations surrounding his namesake.  The cowboy formerly known as Jesse McCree will be renamed Cole Cassidy, according to announcements from the game’s developers. Though the name was publicly revealed today, Cole Cassidy’s name will be officially put into the game on Oct. 26 alongside a patch on the live Overwatch servers.

One of the most anticipated League of Legends skin releases has finally been revealed by Riot Games today in the new Anima Squad cosmetic line featuring Vayne, Jinx, Miss Fortune, and Sylas. Riven’s original Battle Bunny skin, on the other hand, has been revamped and redesigned into Battle Bunny Prime. During the first developer’s update of 2022, Riot showed off some concept art for the upcoming Anima Squad skins. Riot game director Jonathan Belliss said the alternate universe will have “sleek, high-tech armor, powerful warriors, and cute animals.

Regardless of the game mode you prefer playing in Fortnite, you’ll find yourself in countless one-vs-one situations where you’ll need to pull through to secure a Victory Royale. Your demise can eliminate your squad completely, so the pressure will be on. Though one-vs-one scenarios may cause nerves to act up, you can still keep your cool by preparing for the moment. Building up your muscle memory through practicing Fortnite will allow you to react in similar moments without thinking for a second, allowing you to catch your enemies off-guard.

Players will need decent aim and reflexes to excel at Fortnite. That’s nowhere close to the whole story, though. There are other factors that can fundamentally alter player match-ups in Fortnite. Spotting your enemy before they can see you will often give you an advantage over them, and once you have the element of surprise on your side, the chances of you taking down your opponent significantly increase. Players have been using various tricks to make it easier to spot enemies in Fortnite, and one of them is by using different colorblind settings.

The Sewing Needle is an item you can find in Elden Ring that doesn’t appear to have any real use at first. This can be frustrating, especially as you receive it after beating the Demi-Human Chiefs in the Coastal Cave near the first site of grace you encounter.  This item isn’t for your character and actually belongs to Boc, a demi-human that appears as a talking monkey. You can first encounter Boc south of the Agheel Lake North site of grace near the telescope on the map.

The Halo Infinite campaign was officially released this week, giving players a new batch of content and lore to guide John-117, more popularly known as Master Chief, through—and there are a plethora of characters and voices involved in the story. Led by Steve Downes, who voices Master Chief himself, the campaign has players take on “The Banished,” who are taking over Zeta Halo. The list of characters involved in the story isn’t extremely extensive, but there are 14 cast members credited for voice acting in the campaign that was directed by Dan Chosich.
